KUAF Airs Two Live Broadcasts

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – KUAF 91.3 FM will host two live broadcasts this week as part of the Fayetteville Roots Festival.

A live edition of Ozarks At Large will air at noon Friday, Aug. 23. A live episode of Tales from the South will air at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25. Both shows will be broadcast from the Roots Festival's Fayetteville Montessori Stage in the Fayetteville Public Library, and audience members are welcome. Admission is free, but seating is limited. Early arrival is encouraged.

Ozarks At Large, KUAF's daily local news magazine, will include special live performances. The show will be hosted by Kyle Kellams and Antoinette Grajeda.

Tales from the South, a showcase of writers reading their own true stories, will include performances by Mary Gauthier and Michael Fracasso. This is the show's first time in Fayetteville. Hosted and produced by Paula Martin Morell, it is normally recorded live on Tuesday nights at Starving Artist Café in the Argenta Arts District of North Little Rock. There will be a 1 p.m. reception preceding the broadcast, and KUAF 91.3 will air the exclusive live show at 3 p.m.
