The International Business Club based in the Sam M. Walton College of Business is holding a Coffee Hour from 2-4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, in the first floor lobby of the Walton College of Business (WCOB 114-118). This event is to welcome international students to the University of Arkansas.

The International Business Club brings together international students with UofA students so that they can learn more about each other's culture and global perspectives as well as network with people who are from other countries or who have studied abroad in those countries.

The International Business Club is entering its second year as a registered student organization on campus. It was founded by Nick Dintelmann with the support of the global engagement office for the purpose of bringing together students from all over the world to learn from each other, to emphasize the global nature of business, as well as to provide a resource to students majoring or minoring in international business. The club hosts many events throughout the year. Besides Coffee Hour, the International Business Club brings in guest lecturers to speak about their experiences in international areas of business and/or to help better prepare students who want to go abroad to study or to work.

Please drop in to join the club in welcoming U of A's international students and making international connections!

This event is funded by your student activity fee through the ASG-RSO Financial Affairs Committee.
