Are you looking for a high-energy, low-impact workout in a supportive group setting? Group Cycle provides you the benefits of a calorie burning workout, set to music and let by a certified instructor.  This cardiovascular workout is done on a specialized stationary bike on which the tension can be increased and decreased by the participant while the instructor leads and motivates you throughout the class.

University Recreation offers 10 Group Cycle classes throughout the week on their Group Fitness schedule. Classes are free to students, faculty and staff with a UREC membership.

"Group Cycle is great for all fitness levels. Participants control everything from their speed and resistance to their intensity level, so it can be as easy or as challenging as they want it to be. You will truly get out of it what you put into the workout," said Jade Dworkin, University Recreation Fitness Wellness graduate assistant.

Join the UREC staff for Celebrate Cycle Week beginning Monday, Sept. 9. Attend one of UREC's regularly scheduled Group Cycle or Cycle Express classes during this week-long event and log your mileage. The Razorbacks will be playing Southern Mississippi on Saturday, Sept. 14. All participants will log their mileage and see how long it takes our combined cycle classes to virtually travel from Southern Mississippi to University of Arkansas. Come help the cyclers get here before the big game and receive free water bottle for participating!
