FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The end of September and beginning of October bring new performances and art exhibits to campus. Students, faculty, staff and guests are encouraged to attend these events in the visual and performing arts.

The Razorback Marching Band will give the only performance of its Bond Show during half time of the Arkansas Razorbacks football game against Texas A&M at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium Saturday, Sept. 28.

A ceramic sculpture exhibit featuring guest artist Kate Blacklock in the Fine Arts Center hallway exhibition cases will close Friday, Sept. 27. It will be replaced by a printmaking exhibit by visiting artist Anna Tsantir, which will run from Monday, Sept. 30, until Friday, Oct. 18.

Tsantir will give a demonstration and lecture Thursday, Oct. 3, in room 213 of the Fine Arts Center. The demonstration begins at 8:30 a.m., and the lecture begins at 5:30 p.m. There will also be a reception in her honor at 5 p.m. outside the Fine Arts Center Gallery. 

Nadi Cinema presents Five Minarets in New York (dir. Mahsun Kirmizigul, Turkey 2010) at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, in Mullins Library, room 104.

University Theatre presents Clean House, opening Friday, Oct. 4. Performances are at 8 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday until Oct. 13.

Resplendent, an exhibition in the Fine Arts Center Gallery, continues until Friday, Oct. 11. The gallery is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
