Razorback Marching Band Presents Exclusive Performance of Its Bond Show

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Razorback Marching Band will perform the sole production of its Bond Show Saturday, Sept. 28, at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium when the Arkansas Razorbacks host Texas A&M.

The Bond Show features tunes from the James Bond films. It will open with Skyfall, arranged by Joe Murphy, then move on to several pieces arranged by Tom Wallace including James Bond Theme, written by Monty Norman; Live and Let Die, written by Paul McCartney; and a medley of For Your Eyes Only, written by Bill Conti and Goldfinger, written by John Barry.

"The Razorback band is very excited to present this musical showcase from the fifty-year history of James Bond films" said Ben Chamberlain, director of athletic bands. "The music of espionage, as imagined by Bill Conti and others, is full of intense drama — it makes for a terrific marching band production. We are thrilled once again to be working with W. Dale Warren, whose captivating visual programs are known all over the country."

The marching drill was written by Warren, senior wind band conductor and professor of music, for the band's more than 340 student members. The Razorback Marching Band is part of the department of music in the J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences.
