Nursing Educator Joins Faculty This Fall
Tracie Kirkland
Tracie Kirkland, an assistant professor of nursing, joined the faculty of the Eleanor Mann School of Nursing at the University of Arkansas this fall.
The nursing school is part of the College of Education and Health Professions.
Kirkland received a Doctor of Nurse Practice degree from Texas Christian University and was a clinical instructor in the Eleanor Mann School of Nursing last year. She previously worked as an advanced practice registered nurse, pediatric nurse practitioner and clinical instructor at Johns Hopkins University. She also worked with Community Health Associates in Newtown, Conn., and Kimbrough Ambulatory Care Center in Fort Meade, Md.
Her capstone research project at Texas Christian examined the role of advanced practice registered nurses in pre-diabetes screening. She completed an additional 12 hours of nursing education courses.

All donated bikes will be given to Pedal It Forward, a local nonprofit that will refurbish your bike and return it to the U of A campus to be gifted to a student in need. Hundreds of students have already benefited.
