Office for Sustainability Conducts Campus Survey
FAYETEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Arkansas office for sustainability has commissioned a survey of students and faculty to gauge perceptions of sustainability efforts and academic curriculum related to sustainability on campus.
The study, conducted by agricultural communications faculty and graduate students in the U of A department of agricultural education, communications and technology, is now in its second phase. Student survey data has already been collected in 19 undergraduate courses. Phase two, the faculty survey, begins Thursday, Oct. 17.
The faculty survey is available online and takes about five minutes to complete.
Survey administrator Leslie Edgar, associate professor of agricultural communications, encouraged all U of A faculty to participate.
“Our results will provide baseline data about student and faculty perceptions of campus sustainability activities and curriculum. We can use these data to guide and evaluate future efforts to promote sustainability on campus,” Edgar said.
The survey will be available online for 15 days, until Oct. 31.
