FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – University of Arkansas Police conducted a test of the RazALERT emergency message system at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24. Test messages were sent out as texts, emails and phone messages.

Anyone who did not receive a RazALERT test message should check their personal contact information.

For students this means logging into ISIS, going to the “Personal Information” section and choosing “Campus Alert Systems” from the drop-down menu. Each student can assign one cell phone number to receive text messages and set up as many as six land lines or cell phones to receive recorded phone messages.

Faculty and staff can update or correct their contact information through their BASIS accounts by going to the “My Personal Data” section and clicking on “Addresses, etc.” for their RazALERT options. Faculty and staff can designate as many as three phones to receive text messages and three land lines or cell phones to receive recorded phone messages.

Anyone who didn’t receive a RazALERT test message in a timely fashion, or has questions about the system, is asked to contact razalert@uark.edu. Additional information is available at razalert.uark.edu.

By the way, it's pronounced "raise alert."
