Halloween at U of A Bookstore
The University of Arkansas Bookstore is celebrating Halloween in a big way this year. Thursday, Oct. 31, the Bookstore will host a pumpkin-carving contest, with a $50 gift card for the winner. Just bring in your carved pumpkin between 9 a.m. and noon to be entered into the contest. (No carving at the Bookstore, please!)
At 2 p.m. the Bookstore will hold a costume contest, with $100, $50 and $25 gift cards for the top three costumes. Bring your friends, audience participation is encouraged!
As an extra bonus, anyone in a costume will get a 10 percent discount on select purchases, all day.
