The University of Arkansas Schola Cantorum, the flagship choral ensemble of the state, will reinvent the traditional holiday concert this year with a presentation of "A Child's Christmas in Wales." The presentation will include holiday music inspired by, and interpolated into, a complete reading of Dylan Thomas' legendary and popular poem.

Popular music professor Henry Runkles will lend his deep burnished-baritone voice to Thomas' prose, and Stephen Caldwell will lead the choir in what will be a memorable evening of music and spoken word. One night only tonight, Tuesday, Dec. 10, at 7:30 p.m. at Central United Methodist Church on Dickson Street in Fayetteville.

Tickets are $5. All proceeds to benefit the Schola Cantorum's March 2014 concert tour to Puerto Rico.
