One-Day Microsoft and Adobe Application Classes Offered in Spring Through Global Campus

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Registration is now open for one-day computer training classes for Adobe and 2013 Microsoft applications offered through the University of Arkansas Global Campus facilities in Fayetteville and Rogers in spring 2014.

Mike Sypult, director of computer training services, and Starlyn Danley – both Microsoft master certified instructors – will teach 30 classes offered at various skill levels, from basic to advanced. The basic level is for beginners who have no formal training in the application. The intermediate level builds on basic skills, adding more knowledge of features and functionality. The advanced level is for those who want to master the application’s tools and demonstrate strong competency.

Classes will be offered at the Global Campus, 2 E. Center St., on the downtown Fayetteville Square, and at Pinnacle Center One, Rogers, 3300 Market St., Suite 402, Rogers.

The Global Campus provides a 15-computer mobile lab for on-site training and certification testing through Certiport, a world leader in performance-based certification exams.

 “What makes our training classes stand out from other services is our attention to individual students and our dedication to quality and convenience,” Sypult said. “Professionals use these classes to help them become more efficient and productive in the workplace.”

A maximum of 12 students can enroll in each one-day class, providing a low student-to-teacher ratio. The cost is $159 per Microsoft class ($99 for U of A faculty, staff and students) and $199 per Adobe class ($149 for U of A faculty, staff and students).

Spring classes run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., beginning Jan. 10. Course dates, titles and locations include:
