MLK Service Project Seeks Gloves, Hats and Scarves

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to donate gently used hats, gloves or scarves to be distributed to members of the community as one of service projects in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

The U of A Center for Community Engagement is working with the Office of Diversity in the Sam M. Walton College of Business to collect the warm winter apparel. The drive will continue through Monday, Jan. 20.

Scarves, gloves and hats can be dropped off at the Center for Community Engagement office, room A643 in the Arkansas Union; at the Multicultural Center, room 404 in the Union, or at the Walton College Diversity office, room 343 in the business building.
