Each semester, University Recreation offers a variety of Group Fitness classes to help participants meet their health and fitness goals.  By providing a variety, enjoyment and support in their fitness experience, group fitness classes can take the “work” out of your workout. University Recreation Group Fitness classes are instructor-led classes set to music that focus on various fitness components such as cardiovascular endurance and total body strength.

University of Arkansas students, faculty, and staff with a UREC membership are eligible to take Group Fitness classes at no additional cost. All other UREC membership types must purchase a Semester Group Fitness Pass for $40.00 (includes Group Fitness for both facilities). All classes are available on a drop-in basis. Registration is required once per year, and can be done at the class location.

There will be several new group fitness formats to look for during the spring 2014 semester.
