'Bachelorette' Revs Up its Party in Studio 404
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Bachelorette, a play by Leslye Headland, will close the 2013-14 season for the University Theatre Studio Series. The undergraduate project began Thursday, Feb. 6, and will run until Sunday, Feb. 9, at 7:30 p.m. in Kimpel Hall room 404.
Regan, Katie and Gena kick off the Bachelorette party of poisons, complete with booze, drugs, sex and vicious gossip. The privileged threesome, described as cruel, delicious and hilariously crude, launches into a series of events that not only threatens to ruin their friend’s wedding, but their friendship as well.

Kris Stoker, (Macbeth 2013) directs a cast of undergraduate drama students including Emily Geller as Gena, Maggie Ferran as Ragan, Loren McDaniel as Katie, Jami Dunaway as Becky, Zachary Chance Stolz as Joe and Kenny Fitch as Jeff. Bachelorette features scenic and prop design is by Emily Ryan Breakell, costume design by Whitney Masters, lighting design by Lydia Winkelmann and sound design by Caitlan Butler. Angelique Howington serves as stage manager, Sarah Jones as assistant stage manager, Jacob Hofer as lighting mentor and Jesus Rivera as sound mentor. The stage crew is Stephanie Jolly and Anna Knight, and posters were designed by Swaminathan.
Tickets are $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and university faculty and staff, and $3 for University of Arkansas students with valid student identification. Due to limited seating, patrons are strongly encouraged to purchase tickets in advance. Studio 404 accepts cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
