The application period is open for 2014-15 Associated Student Government Senate, Executive Offices, and Graduate Student Congress. Students interested in representing their peers through these elected representative bodies can apply through noon on Wednesday, Feb. 19, via asgforms.uark.edu.

To be eligible to run for a position, a candidate must meet co-curricular eligibility requirements. Additional expectations and campaign rules are outlined in the 2014-15 elections packet available for download from asg.uark.edu. “This is an exciting time for Associated Student Government,” said Rudy Trejo, assistant director of student activities and ASG adviser. “The upcoming year will bring the inauguration of the Graduate Student Congress, while ASG continues to grow and represent the needs of its diverse student body. I highly encourage students to run for office and help make this campus a more vibrant place.”

Elections will be conducted March 10-13 via http://vote.uark.edu. Any student who is enrolled in at least one credit hour is eligible to vote for candidates within his or her college of enrollment as well as vote for the campus wide Executive Officer positions.
