'Biotechnology in Medicines and Pharmaceuticals' Topic of Event

Join a panel of educators as they discuss personalized medicine, designer drugs, new treatments, biopharma and other new methods that are changing health care in marvelous new ways.

“Biotechnology in Medicines and Pharmaceuticals” is the topic for the University of Arkansas Science Café: Food For Thought from 6:30 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 18, at Powerhouse restaurant in Fayetteville.

Panel members will be Robin Goforth, Chief Scientific Officer, Biologics MD, Inc.; Ralph Henry, Distinguished Professor, Institute for Nanoscience and Engineering; and Doug Rhoads, Professor, Department of Biological Sciences.

The event is open to the public and free of charge. Food and drink will be available for purchase.
