Colloquium Course to Offer Intensive Biblical Hebrew This Summer

For the first time in over a decade, U of A students will be able to study the Hebrew language – the language of the Biblical Old Testament. This humanities course starts from square one, assuming no previous knowledge of Hebrew. By the end of this 6-hour course, students will be reading some of the simpler parts of the Hebrew Bible.

The course, HUMN 425V Colloquium, will meet 12:45-4 p.m. weekdays from June 30 to Aug. 1 in Old Main 417.

The instructor, Jacob Adler, professor of philosophy at the University of Arkansas, previously taught Hebrew at the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College. For information, please contact Adler at jadler@uark.edu or 479-200-1397.
