ASG Application Deadline for Fresh HOGS Coordinator and Chief of Staff

Associated Student Government is seeking student leaders to fill a number of positions for the 2014-15 academic year. All available positions are a great way for students interested to get involved, make a difference and participate in shared governance at their university.  Students interested must meet the co-curricular requirements and the individual requirements for each available position. All applications are due to the office of student activities (ARKU A665) by noon on the respective dates. All applications can be found at asg.uark.edu/get-involved-join-us/applications/.

Chief of Staff

The chief of staff position supports the ASG executives in making decisions and completing projects. The position also oversees and supervises members of the President’s Executive Cabinet. The chief of staff is responsible for serving office hours and serves on the Executive Board. Applications are available March 31 and are due at noon April 7.

Fresh HOGS Coordinator

The Freshmen Helping Our Government Succeed (Fresh HOGS) coordinator organizes and manages all activities of the Fresh HOGS program to fulfill its mission of educating and engaging freshmen in the process of shared governance at the University of Arkansas. The coordinator appoints and oversees a staff of deputy and assistant coordinators to assist with the program. Applicants for Fresh HOGS coordinator must have completed the Fresh HOGS program. Applications are available March 31 and are due at noon April 7.
