Memorial Service Planned for May 17 for Mary Elizabeth 'Gus' Jones

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – A memorial service will be held for Mary Elizabeth “Gus” Jones at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 17, in Shollmier Hall of Vol Walker Hall, on the University of Arkansas campus in Fayetteville.
Jones died Feb. 1, 2014, in Fayetteville. She was 92. Born June 27, 1921, in Little Rock, she was the daughter of Harold Dwayne Knox and Emma Louise Moore Knox. She was preceded in death by her husband, E. Fay Jones, in 2004, and by a sister, Martha Louise Elam.
Survivors include two daughters, Janis Jones of St. Louis and Cami Jones of Austin, and a niece, Martha Anne Bostian of Hope, Ark.
Nelson-Berna Funeral Home and Crematory handled the cremation arrangements.
