Two University of Arkansas nursing instructors made a presentation at HPSN World 2014 recently in Sarasota, Florida. HPSN stands for Human Patient Simulation Network. The nursing instructors presented “Secrets of a Successful Simulation Lab” about the simulation laboratories used in the Eleanor Mann School of Nursing.

Lindsey Sabatini and Jaye Henderson, clinical instructors of nursing, shared information about recent updates to the simulation lab and how it functions on a day-to-day basis.

“We are excited to be one of the few simulation labs that has an electronic health record at our school,” Sabatini said. “We also will be one of the first four nursing schools to receive the brand new maternal fetal simulator from CAE Healthcare coming to us in July.”
