emPower Replacement Review and Evaluation Complete

IT Services announces the completion of a review and evaluation of products to replace emPower (also known on campus as NetFYI). The new system, from Perceptive Software, was chosen by a committee representing departments across campus. A replacement became necessary when the vendor, OpenText, announced plans to discontinue support for emPower.

Existing emPower projects will continue to be supported, and IT Services will migrate current users to the new system or other systems managed by IT Services on a case-by-case basis.
