Eddins Becomes Year's 12th Commissioned Army ROTC Officer at the U of A

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — 2nd Lt. Rian Eddins became
the 12th commissioned officer in 2014 from the University of
Arkansas’ Army Reserve Officer Training Corps program on Wednesday, July 2, in
a swearing-in ceremony in the Army ROTC building’s drill hall on the U of A
campus.
2nd Lt. Eddins is the first biological engineering graduate to be commissioned from the U of A. He was sworn in by Lt. Col. Charles A. Pudil II and was then pinned by his parents, Staff Sgt. Tracey Freeman-Eddins and Ronnie Eddins. His mother rendered him his first salute.
The cadre and staff of the “Razorback Brigade” at the University of Arkansas would like to congratulate its newest officer.
