Senate Candidate Informational Session Tonight
Students interested in running for one of the at-large Associated Student Government Senate vacancies are invited to a candidate informational session at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, in ARKU 504.
Vacant seats in ASG Senate are filled with a fall at-large election. Students do not run by college of enrollment; instead, all students vote for all candidates that appear on one ballot. Applications are open to all University of Arkansas students who meet co-curricular requirements. Senate vacancy applications are due by noon on Wednesday, Sept. 3.
Applications for ASG Senate vacancies are available Aug. 25 to Sept. 3 via http://asgforms.uark.edu. Students should log in with a valid uark.edu email address.

It's a great way to create meaningful relationships with students of various backgrounds and interests. If you are passionate about making positive change on campus, I encourage you to apply, ” said Ray Todd, ASG chair of Senate.
