The Honors College will present the Boston Mountain Brassworks in an intimate house concert from 6-7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 18. The performance will take place in the Honors Student Lounge (room 130) in the honors wing of Ozark Hall.

This fall marks the 12th season for the UA faculty brass quintet, which features Richard Rulli, trumpet; Chase Teague, trumpet; Timothy Thompson, horn; Cory Mixdorf, trombone; and Benjamin Pierce, tuba.

“The great thing about the brass quintet is that we play everything from Bach to folk music to jazz,” said Richard Rulli, associate professor of music. “And we’ll be interacting with the audience as we go, talking about the composers and pieces,” he added. View program here.

Light refreshments will be served. All on campus and in the community are welcome, but please RSVP as space is limited.
