The Little Mermaid, released in 1989, is a timeless masterpiece based on the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale. This young mermaid, named Ariel, longs for more than just the under the sea life she knows. When a storm strikes and a young prince Eric is tossed from his ship into the churning ocean, Ariel saves the prince and swims him to shore. She falls in love with the prince and gives up her voice to the evil Ursula to go venture ashore and marry her prince. Come see how the little mermaid fares on land and ultimately finds her prince.

This film grossed over 200 million worldwide and won three Academy Awards and four Golden Globes. This film marked the start of the Disney Renaissance era and would precede many more great films. Come see the magic that prompted an era and watch the timeless “Under the Sea” treasure, The Little Mermaid.
