New Faculty in Recreation, Sport Management to Present Research

Terry Eddy and Sarah Stokowski, two new University of Arkansas assistant professors of recreation and sport management, will present their research at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, in Room 316 of the Health, Physical Education and Recreation Building.

The presentations are part of the Department of Health, Human Performance and Recreation Research Seminar Series. The seminars are free and open to the public. The series is intended to expose students and faculty to research being conducted in the department. Refreshments will be served.

Eddy’s topic is “An Examination of Attendance at College Football Bowl Games,” and Stokowski’s topic is “Race and Gender in Sport Management Pedagogy: A Case Study in Which Caucasian Male Students Are the Minority.”
