Check in and Checkers out with University Programs

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — University Programs hosts National Checkers Day Tournament from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, in Au Bon Pain at the University of Arkansas Union.

This event is sponsored by University Programs through the Office of Student Activities and is supported by the Student Activities fee. For special accommodations due to disability, please contact the Office of Student Activities, osa@uark.edu or call 479-575-5255.

Come out for some free fun and dominate in the University Programs National Checkers Day Tournament. Students will compete with one another for the ultimate victory of being a checkers champion! The first place prize is a $50 gift card, second place is a $20 gift card and third place is a brand new Chinese checkers board.

Students can sign up for the competition in the Office of Student Activities, ARKU A665, or by emailing osa@uark.edu with name, ID number, email address, and phone number.
