Registered Student Organization officers are invited to an Officer Development Series on “Advertising and Outreach” Sept. 22 from 2:30-3:30 p.m. in ARKU 308SW (by the food court). RSO officers who attend will learn about effective advertising and how to make students aware of their organization. Food will be provided.

The Officer Development Series focuses on student leadership development for RSO officers. SOOIE, the Student Organization Outreach and Involvement Experience, hosts these  workshops twice a month covering a variety of topics related to RSOs.  

Dates and times for the remaining series are:

  • Tuesday, Oct. 7 from 1-2 p.m. (Strengths & Leadership Skills)
  • Monday, Oct. 13 from 2:30-3:30 p.m. (RSO Collaboration)
  • Tuesday, Nov. 4 from 1-2 p.m. (Professional Development)
  • Monday, Nov. 17 from 2:30-3:30 p.m. (Managing Large RSO’s)
