Throw Down Thursday: Best Freestyle Wins Cash Prize

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — University Programs hosts Throw Down Thursday Rap Battle, 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, in the Verizon Ballroom at the University of Arkansas Union.

This event is sponsored by University Programs through the Office of Student Activities and is supported by the Student Activities fee. For special accommodations due to disability, please contact the Office of Student Activities, osa@uark.edu or call 479-575-5255.

Let the beat drop and freestyle your way to the top in the University Programs Throw Down Thursday Rap Battle. Contestants who sign up ahead of time are automatically entered to win a $25 Chick fil a Gift Card. Contestants are also welcome to join in on the day of the event. Contestants must be University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, students to enter. Three judges will determine the first, second and third place winners. Prizes will be announced before event date, so stay tuned. Don’t miss this opportunity for your skills to literally pay off and come out to Throw Down Thursday!
