Marijuana Legalization Debate Hosted by U of A Law Students

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- Former FBI agent and current attorney Alicia Hilton and Bruce Eddy, a federal public defender in the Western District of Arkansas will debate "The Merits and Legal Ramifications of Legalizing Marijuana." Hilton will be arguing for legalization and Eddy will make a case against it. Both will use the experiences in Colorado and Washington, where marijuana is now legal, as part of the debate. 

The event will take place at noon, Thursday, Oct. 16 in the E.J. Ball Courtroom of the School of Law. The debate is being hosted bye law students in the Federalist Society and the Black Law Student Association. 

The debate is free and open to the public.
