University Recreation to Offer Free Body Composition Screenings

University Recreation offers free body composition screenings the first Monday of each month from 4-6 p.m. in the HPER Building, located inside of the Donna Axum Fitness Center. Body composition screenings are a quick, easy, non-invasive way to find out body fat percentage. Specifically, these screenings allow an individual to find out their ratio of lean body mass to fat body mass, and are offered by the University Recreation certified personal training staff.  Participants should come hydrated for the most accurate results.

“A body composition screening is the best way to determine if your health goals are being achieved. They are also helpful to see if adjustments should be made to your nutrition or exercise program,” said Jade Dworkin, university recreation graduate assistant for fitness/wellness.
