EPA Game Day Challenge

Last year nearly 83 percent of all game day waste was diverted from landfills during the University of Arkansas vs. Auburn football game. This diversion rate was reported in the Environmental Protection Agency’s Game Day Challenge. The University of Arkansas placed eighth in the nation and 1st in the SEC during the friendly competition.

This Saturday, the university needs your help! The University of Arkansas wants to become the first college in the SEC to reach zero waste. Volunteers are needed from 5-11 p.m.

Volunteers Duties

  • Collecting and sorting recyclables throughout the game
  • Sorting for one hour after the game
