A total of 26,945 items of food for the University of Arkansas Full Circle Campus Food Pantry – a 186 percent increase from the 14,466 items collected last year.

About 2,100 registered participants from the student body and the Northwest Arkansas community ran in the Color Those Hogs 5K on Sunday.

More than 1,100 hot dogs were served on the Old Main lawn during the rescheduled Hot Dogs with Head Hogs immediately following the 5K run.

Yet to come, a goal of 1,200 units of blood donated during the blood drive from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 15 and Oct. 16 at the HPER Building. Appointments are available at www.redcrossblood.org. Enter the sponsor code: UAFAY.

These are just a few of the many efforts the Student Alumni Association is carrying out for Homecoming 2014. Contribute to this impact and join us for two weeks of opportunities to give back to the community!
