Starting October 20, users will see a new login screen at exchange.uark.edu.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- Starting Monday, Oct. 20, faculty and staff using the Outlook Web App (OWA) at exchange.uark.edu will see a new login screen, but email and calendars will look the same after logging in. This change is in preparation for upgrading faculty and staff email to Exchange 2013 later this semester.

After the new login screen is put in place on Oct. 20, IT Services will begin testing, after which time all faculty and staff mailboxes will be moved to Exchange 2013.

Following the mailbox migration, faculty and staff will see their default quotas increase from 1 GB to 4 GB, as well as a new OWA interface. There will be no change in the way users access UARK email through a smartphone or a computer application such as Outlook.

The phased implementation of Exchange 2013 allows for periods of testing and evaluation before the new service is introduced to the campus community. IT Services will continue to provide Exchange 2013 migration updates at http://facebook.com/uarkits.
