University Begins Search for Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Arkansas has started a national search for a new vice chancellor for finance and administration. Donald O. Pederson, who had held the position since 1998, retired on June 30. Tim O’Donnell is currently serving as interim vice chancellor.

“I am pleased to announce that we have launched the vice chancellor of finance and administration search and have engaged Parker Executive Search to assist us in our recruiting efforts,” said Sharon Gaber, provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs, who is serving as chair of the search committee.  “The University of Arkansas has a fantastic reputation and I’m certain this search will attract several qualified candidates.”
