Mathematical Sciences Hosts Geometry and Topology Conference

Topology and geometry researchers from across the region and national universities will be on campus Saturday, Nov. 1, to attend the 2014 Redbud Topology Conference hosted by the Department of Mathematical Sciences.

Talks will begin at 9 a.m. in SCEN 408.

The event is being organized by University of Arkansas mathematical sciences faculty Matt Clay, Matt Day, Yo’av Rieck and Jeremy Van Horn-Morris.

Participant support provided by the National Science Foundation.

The Redbud Topology Conference is a regional conference in topology and related areas, with participants from the University of Arkansas, the University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State University and elsewhere.
