ASG Graduate Student Congress Encourages You to Vote in the November General Elections
Early voting for the Nov. 4 general election has begun. The Associated Student Government Graduate Student Congress encourages all registered voters at the university to get out and vote.
Early voting takes place until Monday, Nov. 3, and general election day is Tuesday, Nov. 4. Washington County voters, including University of Arkansas students registered here, can vote early at six locations in the county, including three locations in Fayetteville.
To view a sample ballot before heading to the voting booth, visit the Arkansas Secretary of State Voter View website. This election will determine the future of many state-level offices, such as the next governor of Arkansas. The ballot also contains votes on five special ballot issues, including an act to increase the Arkansas minimum wage. The Arkansas Public Policy Center has fact sheets on ballot issues available on its website.
Vote early in Washington County between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. today, Monday, Nov. 3, at the Washington County Courthouse, 280 N. College Ave. Other early-voting locations are closed today. Vote at your assigned precinct polling place on Tuesday, Nov. 4.
