Boston Mountain Brassworks - UA Faculty Artist Brass Ensemble in Residence.

The University of Arkansas faculty brass ensemble in residence, Boston Mountain Brassworks, will be in concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, in Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall in the Fine Arts Center.

The program includes an eclectic mix of music from Bach to Balmages, representing the U.S., France and Germany.

Members of the Brassworks are the applied brass faculty in the Department of Music from the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences: Richard Rulli, trumpet; Timothy Thompson, horn; Cory Mixdorf, trombone; and Benjamin Pierce, tuba. Graduate assistant Chase Teague rounds out the ensemble playing second trumpet.

The Brassworks is now in its 12th season and normally performs one concert on campus each semester. The performance is free and open to the public. For more information, contact the Music Department at 575-4701.
