Take five for mental health on Wednesday, Dec. 10 in the Student Union Connection Lounge.

Counseling and Psychological Services will hold its first Play Day event to promote fun, play and resiliency against stress on Wednesday, Dec. 10, from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in the Student Union Connections Lounge.

The event will include several different interactive stations for students to drop by and engage in soothing and fun activities. Students can look forward to making stress balls, popping bubble wrap, coloring mandalas, tracing labyrinths, participating in gentle stretching and relaxation activities and much more.

CAPS staff will be on hand to provide education and instruction on great stress management tools such as sleep hygiene, mindfulness and test-taking tips.

The first 36 students who stop by and pick up a mood ring will have the opportunity to participate in CAPS' new "Take 5 for Mental Health" campaign. Those students who get five unique mood rings in an academic year will be entered into a drawing for $100 in Razorbucks. Show off your mood ring using #take5uark on social media.

Stop by and let CAPS and the whole team at the Pat Walker Health Center help you get ready for finals!
