The Office of the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs has launched a redesigned website. The new site is the result of work done by Information Technology Services over the past three months.

“An informative, easy-to-navigate site was our goal when we began this project,” said Sharon Gaber, provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs. “We are very excited to share this redesigned site with the campus community at the beginning of the semester.”

The site offers quick and easy access to information regarding academics, faculty, governance and university initiatives. Visitors to the site will notice the Academic Policies are now formatted for the Web and can be sorted and searched by title and number. Also, related forms are linked within each policy. The redesigned website was developed using OmniUpdate, the university’s new content management system, and incorporates a Web template collaboratively designed by developers across campus.

The site will continue to be updated and feedback is encouraged by emailing provost@uark.edu.
