Funding Available to Faculty and Students for Gulf-South Summit
The Service Learning Initiative is excited to announce a funding opportunity for faculty and students. Those interested in learning more about service learning are encouraged to apply for financial assistance towards conference registration and hotel expenses for the Little Rock-based summit.
The Gulf-South Summit is hosted by the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service. The theme of the 2015 Summit is “Building Bridges between Education and Engagement.” The mission of the Gulf-South Summit on Service-Learning and Civic Engagement through Higher Education is to “promote networking among practitioners, research, ethical practices, reciprocal campus-community partnerships, sustainable programs, and a culture of engagement and public awareness through service-learning and other forms of civic engagement.”
