A free meditation group will be offered Thursdays in the Pat Walker Health Center.

Students, faculty and staff interested in meditation are invited to join a free group hosted weekly in the Pat Walker Health Center.

Cultivating a meditation practice offers several benefits, including improving general well-being and a person’s ability to cope with challenges and difficult emotions.

Participants will be provided with basic meditation instructions and the philosophy of meditation. Most of the hour will be spent practicing guided and unguided meditations.

New and experienced meditators are welcome. There is no fee for this group and you can come as your schedule allows.

The group meets in the Pat Walker Health Center room 245 on Thursdays from 3-4 p.m. The first meditation group will be this Thursday, Jan. 22.

For questions about the group, email Aneeqa Ishtiaq at aishtia@uark.edu.
