Stadium Drive Traffic to be Restricted for at Least Two Weeks

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Stadium Dr. between Meadow St and Maple St will be closed to through traffic from Friday, Jan 23 until at least Tuesday, Feb 3. while crews working for the City of Fayetteville finish relocating a water main.

Stadium Dr. will be closed to all traffic at the Maple St. intersection. Access to Lot 44 will also be blocked to and from Stadium Dr.

Drivers will be able to travel on Stadium Dr. from the Meadow Street end as far as the service drive that leads to the Stadium Dr. Parking Garage and service entrance to the Arkansas Union, and will be able to get to the buildings along Stadium Dr. as well as the Stadium Drive Parking Garage, Arkansas Union, the Faulkner Performing Arts Center Project and parking spaces on the south side of the Administration Building.

The contractor will place street closure and detour signs to help re-route traffic, and flaggers will be available as needed to direct traffic.

Drivers will still be able to get into or out of Lot 44 from Razorback Rd. and Maple St.
