Assistant Professor to Discuss Biomechanic Research

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Kaitlin Gallagher, an assistant professor of exercise science at the University of Arkansas, will discuss her research from 3-4 p.m. today, Jan. 30, as part of the Department of Health, Human Performance and Recreation Research Seminar Series.

The seminars take place in Room 316 of the Health, Physical Education and Recreation Building. They are free and open to the public.

Gallagher’s presentation is titled, “New Kid on the Block and the Reemergence of Biomechanics in the HHPR.” She joined the U of A faculty earlier this month after earning her doctorate at the University of Waterloo last year. 

The purpose of the seminar series is to expose students and faculty to research being conducted in the department. Refreshments will be served.
