Registration Open for Adobe Photoshop Part 2 Computer Training Class March 13

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- Registration is open for an Adobe Photoshop CS6 Part 2 class Friday, March 13, that provides hands-on, instructor-led computer training from the University of Arkansas Global Campus.

This intermediate-level Photoshop class is set for 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. March 13 at the Global Campus, 2 E. Center St., on the downtown Fayetteville square. Participants can register online. The cost is $199, but U of A faculty, staff and students pay $149. Seating is limited to 12 people.

An instructor from Saatchi & Saatchi X, a Springdale marketing agency with international clients, will teach this course. It is the second in a two-class series for Photoshop training.

Part 2 builds on participants’ basic Photoshop knowledge. It shows participants how to identify and use raster and vector drawing and painting tools to create and edit images. Participants learn how to apply masks to hide and show image layers, use filters to create special effects, and build layer styles to create layer effects. Participants will utilize smart objects, layer comps, actions and batch processing to streamline workflow. Also learn to create and edit video, and animate graphics in videos.
