Stay Smart, Get Ahead with Summer Classes at the U of A

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Students who want to pick up a minor, tackle subjects they’re struggling with or meet a required course quickly can do all that and more in University of Arkansas summer classes.

Summer semester classes offer students and parents the opportunity to save time and money. The same courses offered during spring or fall semester can be taken in 5- or 10-week sessions in the summer, so students can get more out of their time at the U of A.

Summer classes can also help students graduate on time – or even get a degree ahead of schedule.

Most summer courses meet weekday mornings for an hour and a half, so students can have their rest of the day to themselves – to work, study, or enjoy the summer.

Class sizes average around 15-20 students per section so students get more face-to-face interaction with professors. Summer classes are offered on-campus, online and through study-abroad, so students have a choice of times, ways and subjects that work for them.
