Human Resources Launches Redesigned Website

On Monday, March 30, Human Resources launched a redesigned website at hr.uark.edu. The website offers new navigation, ways to quickly identify and contact HR Experts, and related forms and documents conveniently linked from every topic page.

In addition to new left-side navigation, a QuickFind feature on the home page allows visitors to search any topic or keyword to find the forms and documents they need. The Staff Handbook was also included in the redesign, and all sections are now searchable by keyword or topic.

"Our goal when beginning this project was to better serve the campus and provide easy-to-find information to our employees and applicants," said Barbara Abercrombie, the associate vice chancellor for human resources. "We are excited to share the redesigned website with the university community this spring."

The University of Arkansas online job application system, PeopleAdmin 7, also underwent a substantial upgrade and was launched alongside the redesigned Human Resources website on March 30.

Work will continue on the website, and faculty and staff are encouraged to submit feedback or report missing information at hr.uark.edu/missing. Most existing bookmarks and links to the old website will continue to work because old Web addresses have been redirected to the new site. Please report any broken links to the hr.uark.edu website by contacting webteam@uark.edu.

The new site is the result of work done by Information Technology Services using OmniUpdate, the university's new content management system.
