ASG Election Results for 2015-16 Academic Year

Students have elected their executive and legislative Associated Student Government officials for the 2015-16 academic year. Elections were conducted March 9-12 and have been certified by the ASG Judiciary.
"As the organization enters its 94th year of service to the University of Arkansas, ASG will be led by an outstanding group student leaders," said Rudy Trejo, assistant director of student activities for Student Government Leadership and ASG adviser. "I am confident that the executive officers as well as legislative senators and representatives will actively advocate, engage, program, and serve their peers."
Next year's ASG executive officers include:
- Tanner Bone of Jefferson City, Missouri, was elected president of Associated Student Government. Bone is a junior majoring in international business in the Sam M. Walton College of Business.
- Morgan Farmer of Springdale was elected vice president. Farmer is a junior political science major in the Fulbright College of Arts and Science.
- Meera Patel of El Dorado was elected secretary. Patel is a junior majoring in Accounting with a minor in information systems in the Sam M. Walton College of Business.
- Raymond Todd of Rockwall, Texas, was elected treasurer by the ASG Senate. Todd is a junior majoring in finance in the Sam M. Walton College of Business.
- Jace Motley of Conway was elected chair of Senate by the ASG Senate. Motley is a sophomore majoring in political science in the Fulbright College of Arts and Science.

The new executive officers and members of the Senate and Graduate Student Congress will be sworn in at ASG Inauguration at 2 p.m. Friday, May 1, at the Verizon Ballroom in the Arkansas Union. Students interested in getting involved with Associated Student Government can check the ASG website for cabinet and other applications. Additionally, vacancy applications will be available in the fall for unfilled Senate and GSC seats.
The Associated Student Government at the University of Arkansas is a student-led organization that acts as an organized voice for all students and strives to effectively represent student interest.
