All-University Academic Integrity Board Needs Students to Serve in Coming Year

The All-University Academic Integrity Board is currently accepting applications for undergraduate and graduate students to participate during fall 2015/spring 2016 semesters. The AUAIB (consisting of faculty and students) is a prestigious volunteer opportunity and a great way to get involved and serve the campus. The AUAIB is responsible for reviewing contested allegations of academic dishonesty and contested sanctions referred by the Academic Integrity Monitor. Members of the AUAIB are expected to:

  • Ensure fair and equitable treatment of all who come before you.
  • Consider all evidence fully and carefully before arriving at a decision.
  • Treat all students who appear before you with dignity and respect.
  • Adhere to the rules of confidentiality.

The AUAIB is in search of candidates who meet the following guidelines:

  • Undergraduate students who have at least 12 hours of University credit, a 2.5 GPA, and are in good academic and disciplinary standing are eligible to apply.
  • Graduate Students who are in good academic and disciplinary standing are eligible to apply.

For more information regarding the University of Arkansas's Academic Integrity Policy and AUAIB, you are encouraged to review honesty.uark.edu.

The AUAIB meets monthly on a rotating schedule of Tuesday and Friday afternoons (2:00PM-5:00PM). Applicants who wish to apply must be available during these times.

Interested candidates can submit an application online. Email questions to honesty@uark.edu.

The deadline to apply is April 20.
