Journalism Seniors to Be Celebrated With Ice Cream Social Today

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Walter J. Lemke Department of Journalism at the University of Arkansas will present 2015 Journalism Seniors Ice Cream Social, taking place from noon to 2 p.m. today, Tuesday, April 14, at the Business College courtyard, next to the J.B. Hunt Transport Center for Academic Excellence.

The 2015 Senior Ice Cream Social will be a casual event where students of the Lemke Journalism Department can enjoy one last meeting with fellow classmates and faculty. Along with Shake's Frozen Custard there will also be door prizes such as a Fitbit bracelet and a football signed by head football coach Bret Bielema. Members of the university administration such as Chancellor Dave Gearhart will be in attendance, along with other vice chancellors and representatives of the ASG.

The Lemke Department is part of the J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences.
